Our range of domestic fences is suitable for all situations from garden fences to boundary fences. All timber is carefully selected to ensure it meets our high quality standards and comes from FSC sustainable managed sources.

Panel Fencing

Panel fencing is the most popular choice for domestic fencing and, once installed, gives immediate privacy.

  • Closeboard (featheredge panel) fencing – Vertically boarded fence panels supported by either wooden or concrete posts along with a concrete base panel/gravel board if required.
  • Waney lap panel fencing – Horizontally boarded fence panels supported by either wooden or concrete posts along with a concrete base panel/gravel board if required.

Featheredge Boarded Fencing

Wooden feather edge board fencing in front of treesThis type of fencing consists of two or three horizontal wooden rails fastened to wooden or concrete posts and then clad with wooden boards. Again, this type of fence provides excellent privacy and security.

Wooden Palisade (Picket Fencing)

This type of fence is constructed from rails secured to wooden posts or inserted into mortices in between concrete posts and then the pales nailed to the rails.

Pale Fencing

Wooden Pale Fencing in GardenPale fencing is manufactured from coppiced woodland. The wood is split into pales and galvanised wire is then woven between the pales. This is a popular type of fencing and is most often around building sites, pipelines and as a temporary measure around houses.

Wattle Hurdles

Again manufactured from coppiced woodland, wattle hurdles are made from either hazel or willow that is woven between supporting stakes to create a solid panel.

Post and Rail Fencing

Wooden post and rail fencing in grass fieldTypically seen around agricultural and equine land, post and rail fencing makes for an excellent boundary fence and consists of wooden posts driven in to the ground and clad with two, three or four wooden rails. This is available using square, round or half round posts and flat or half round rails.

Rabbit and Badger Proof Fencing

Our experience in installing rabbit and badger proof fencing can give you peace of mind that the area proofed will be kept clear of rabbits or badgers so long as the fence is maintained and looked after to prolong its life. Cleft/Riven Chestnut Fencing

Cleft chestnut fencing with gate surrounding treesChestnut timber offers a rustic effect and is produced from coppiced woodlands then pressure treated. The cleft cutting method follows the grain of the wood producing stronger posts but more irregular shapes.
